What does the name ERIC stand for?
You are probably wondering what the name ERIC means. Well, the name is a way for us to refer to the online environment simply called "iClassrooms" which is being used by several Regions within AGWM, including Europe. To help make it easier for us to refer to the Europe iClassroom site and to differentiate it from the others, we decided to condense the name down to simply ERIC, which stands for "Europe Region iClassrooms".
What is the purpose of ERIC?
ERIC is an online learning and support portal that will help service our Europe Region in several ways. Besides providing training for new missionaries prior to arriving in Europe, ERIC will also serve to equip current missionaries already on the field. The training provided by ERIC will help us as a Region to more effectively carry out our mission of establishing the church in Europe.
Here are some ways ERIC will help equip our missionary body:
- Provide essential training for all MAs and Career missionaries during itineration and beyond;
- Connect specialized training resources to the European Region, such as SPI and HUBS;
- Offer ongoing training for all missionaries while on the field;
- Build a community of life-long learners who are impacting Europe with the gospel;
- And much more...
How do I access ERIC?
All personnel who are serving in Europe can create an account on ERIC using your "ma.agmd.org, "agmd.org" or "ag.org" email address. Once you've created an account, you will have access to the resources available on ERIC. If you have not created an account yet, simply click here to get started. It only takes a minute.
What if I have questions or have an issue?
If you have any questions about using ERIC or encounter issues when accessing the site, you can use the contact form to submit your questions found here.
